Your average car-thief doesn't have code-grabbing equipment. Considering that EVERY alarm company has rolling codes for anti-codegrabbing for more than a decade, you're talking about something that the modern-day car thief probably doesn't even know about. FYI: Stubby flathead screwdriver in vice-grip pliers can be popped into the keyhole and turned, unlocking the door and disarming the factory alarm, just as quickly as putting the key in. Trust me on that. Your level of security is ZERO with the factory system anyway. Depending on where you live, where you go, and where you park, you should SERIOUSLY consider upgrading. The only way I would consider leaving the factory system is if the car is garage kept and only comes out for sunday cruises on nice days!
